NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 25-year-old cyclist was fatally hit by a tanker truck in Williamsburg on Thursday night, officials say.
The cyclist was heading east on Broadway at Marcy Avenue just after 11:35 p.m. when she was struck by the truck.
She died at the scene while the truck continued onward.
Police believe the truck and cyclist were headed in the same direction.
The investigation is ongoing.
