NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One suspect is in custody in connection to a vicious attack on four homeless men back in February, in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn.Officials arrested 29-year-old Jesus Guadalupe and charged him with robbery, gang assault, and possession of stolen property in connection with the February 23, attack.Police say he and four other men jumped the homeless men as they slept in front of 1002 69th Avenue.
The attackers demanded money from the victims while punching, kicking and throwing things at them but only got five dollars officials say.
Two of the victims were immediately taken to Lutheran Medical Center.
A third victim went to the hospital later, and remains in critical condition with severe head trauma.Police are still looking for the other four suspects and ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
