NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Thursday of two women wanted in connection to a grand larceny incident that occurred in Queens.
On Jan. 8, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officials say the two susepcts entered an elevator of a residential building at 31st Drive and 21st Street in the Long Island City section.
Officials say they were inside the elevator with an 89-year-old woman and began to take her purse, which contained $200 cash, five checks and a MetroCard.
The suspects then got off on the 6th floor where police say they fled to parts unknown.
Authorities describe the first suspect as a woman approximately 18 to 26-years-old, approximately 5'3" tall, with a thin build, black hair, and wearing a black
bubble jacket and red and white Jordan sneakers.
Police describe the second suspect as being 18 to 26-years-old, approximately 5'7" tall and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, grey sweatpants, and blue
sneakers.
