NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An unoccupied NYPD van was broken into then set on fire early Wednesday morning in Greenwich Village, officials confirm.
Police tell 1010 WINS that someone broke the rear, driver's side window of the homeless outreach vehicle before setting it ablaze.
The incident occurred sometime between 4:30 and 4:45 a.m. in front of 21 East 12th Street.
An investigation remains ongoing.
