NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the death of a man that was shot in the face in the Bronx on Wednesday.
At approximately 3:10 p.m., authorities responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 620 Lenox Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the face.
He was later identified as 30-year-old Irvin Payne, from the Bronx.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
