Police looking for random UWS assaulter who beat man

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who assaulted another man on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

On Feb. 5 at about 2:40 p.m. at the corner of W. 103rd St. and Broadway, the victim, 55, was approached by another man who began to punch and kick him. The victim was bruised on his head and torso and taken to a local hospital for treatment.


The suspect, who is described as man aged between 20 and 30, fled on foot. He was last seen wearing dark clothing, carrying a paper bag of what appeared to be fast food.
