NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are looking to identify a person of interest in connection with the death of an Alabama man who was found lying on a street in the Bronx.
The NYPD released images of the suspect on Sunday. He was last seen driving down Prospect Avenue in a red vehicle.
Troy Scott, 40, was found unconscious after a street brawl near East 169 Street and Prospect Avenue in the Bronx on June 16, police said. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.
The medical examiner is trying to figure out what killed Scott, who is from Birmingham, Alabama. Police said there were no visible signs of trauma on his body when they found him.
The Daily News reports that police are investigating the possibility that Scott was swept up into the fight and died after falling and hitting his head.
