NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to lure a 13-year-old boy from his car on Tuesday in New Jersey, according to authorities.
The boy was walking home from school in Old Tappan, New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon, when a man drove up to him in a dark-colored sedan and tried to engage him in conversation about the New York Yankees.
The boy ran away and called his parents, officials say.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40's with dark hair, dark sunglasses and a goatee.
