There's going to be no sector of our economy that's going to be spared on this one," CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Randy Peers, tells 1010 WINS.

The mandatory reduction in workforces, the absolute closures will affect the supply chain which will then affect each sector of the economy. "This is an unprecedented crisis. We have no playbook for this and we don't know how long it's going to last," Peers said.

In order to help the businesses that will be affected, Peers would like to see a sales tax suspension or some sort of mass stimulus.

Rent reductions are a repeal of city commercial rent tax for small businesses would be extremely helpful  because "they will all be struggling with rent."

He also wants to financial help for businesses to pay for deep cleaning.

"Ultimately every office, every small business needs to be deep cleaned, and that's going to be  a big cost the businesses themselves," Peers said. "To do it right, it's going to cost them."
