NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Scott Stringer announced on Friday that his mother died earlier in the day from coronavirus.
Arlene Stringer-Cuevas was 86.
"My beloved mother passed away this morning as a result of complications from the coronavirus," he tweeted. "This is a heartbreaking moment for me, my wife, and our entire family."
In a lengthier statement, he added, "The loss I feel today is incalculable."
