NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A person was struck by a train in Midtown Wednesday evening, causing trains to be rerouted and extensive delays.

"F trains have resumed making all station stops in both directions after someone was struck by a train at 57 St. Many F trains were re-routed onto the E, M, or G lines, so you may see an F train where you don’t expect to," the MTA tweeted.

"Continue to expect longer waits and significant delays," the MTA added.
