NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A teen was found fatally shot in the Richmond Valley section of Staten Island on Thursday morning, officials said.NYPD responded to a 911 call of 19-year-old Christopher Redmond in front of 606 Page Avenue near Hylan Boulevard at approximately 4:16 a.m.
According to a report from The Daily News, Redmond and a friend attempted to sneak into the house of a drug dealer when he was fatally shot in the chest.
EMS transported the victim to Staten Island University Hospital in Prince's Bay, where he was pronounced dead.Police sources say a cell phone with blood on it was found next to the body and authorities believe the victim may have called for help after being shot.
