Man Suspected of Shooting Judge's Husband, Son, Found Dead of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound: Reports

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- The suspected gunman who shot a federal judge's husband and 20-year-old son -- killing the son -- at their New Jersey home Sunday, has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in upstate New York, according to multiple reports.

The man was found in Liberty, New York.

According to ABC News, the man's body was found in a car.

He was an attorney who had a case before Judge Esther Salas in 2015, according to ABC News.

The shootings occurred in North Brunswick at the home of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, who has been connected high-profile cases involving Jeffrey Epstein and "Real Housewives of New Jersey'' stars Teresa and Joe Giudice.

Salas' husband, Mark Anderl, is a defense lawyer. Their son Daniel, is a student at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. (photos below)

The gunman posed in what appeared to be a FedEx uniform and opened fire at the home, law enforcement officials said.

Authorities said Salas was in the basement at the time and wasn't injured and her husband is recovering from surgery.

"The FBI is investigating a shooting that occurred at the home of Judge Ester Salas in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey earlier this evening, July 19," the FBI's Newark field office tweeted Sunday night. "We're looking for one subject & ask that anyone who thinks they may have relevant information call us at 1-973-792-3001."
