NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A storm is on its way from the south to soak the New York City area on Sunday after a mild Friday and Saturday.
A storm coming up from the Gulf Coast state is heading through the Ohio Valley to the northeast.
Friday afternoon and evening will be mild with some clouds, with a high of 65 and a nighttime low of 53 in the city, down to 40s in the suburbs.
Saturday will see intervals of clouds and sunshine and a high of 63.
Some rain may arrive late west of the city, with clouds elsewhere.
