NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Thursday of a suspect wanted in connection to a robbery of a 75-year old man in the Bronx.

Officials say that on Thursday August 15, at approximately 2:00 p.m, near Webster Avenue and East 174 Street, the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm, told him he was the police and demanded to see his identification.

When the victim produced his wallet to show the suspect his ID, police say he grabbed the wallet and fled on foot northbound on Webster Avenue.

Authorities describe the suspect as a male, Black, 20 to 30 years old, 5'5", with short dreads.

He was last seen wearing a white tank top, blue and white shorts, and white sneakers.

Police urge anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
