NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Queens.
On Nov. 25, at approximately 10:48 a.m., police say a 44-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect in front of 88-49 161st Street in the Jamaica section.
The dispute then escalated into a physical confrontation and police say the suspect displayed a sharp instrument and stabbed the victim in the face and torso.
The suspect fled southbound on 161st Street.
EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was treated non-life threatening injuries.
