NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man sought in connection to a string of Bronx robberies, where according to police, the suspect brandishes a box cutter and demands their property.
Officials say the suspect first struck on August 26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., when a 22-year-old woman entering her building, located at 2755 Reservoir Avenue, when the suspect approached her from behind in the stairwell and brandished a boxcutter, stealing her cellphone and $60.The man struck once again at 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 2 at 2721 Morris Avenue, where police say he robbed another 22-year-old woman and threatened her with a sharp object before getting away with her purse containing $340 and cellphone.The suspect threatened 24-year-old woman with a box cutter on Sept. 14, at 11:50 p.m., after following her into her building located at 2675 Creston Avenue, according to police.
Police say he placed the boxcutter to her face which caused her to fall to the ground. The suspect then grabbed the victim's purse and dragged her out of the building where he punched her in the face several times until she let go.
The victim's bag contained a Macbook laptop and wallet.
