NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a robbery pattern in Lower Manhattan.
On Nov. 8, at 11:30 a.m., police say a 27-year-old woman was walking in front of 273 Bowery, when she was approached from behind by the suspect who forcibly removed $100 cash from the victims jacket pocket.
The suspect fled eastbound on Houston Street but a good Samaritan chased after and confronted the suspect and was able to retrieve and return the victim's money, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Minutes later, at 12:10 p.m., a 39-year-old woman was walking in front of 127 East 10 Street when she was approached from behind by the suspect individual who pushed the victim to the ground and attempted to remove the victim's purse.
The victim was able to retain her purse and the suspect fled east bound on 10th Street, police said.
No property removed and the victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Police describe the suspect as a male Black, 20-30 years of age, and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
