NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 19-year-old boy was shot overnight in the East Village, officials said.
The shooting occurred just after midnight on Avenue D near East 8th Street.
According to police, the victim was walking when he heard shots and then felt pain.
He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities are searching for two suspects and an investigation is ongoing.
