BETHPAGE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- The honeymoon is over for Tiger Woods -- it ended Friday at the PGA Championship on Long Island.

The pro-golfer failed to make the cut -- by one stroke -- in this weekend's PGA Championship and will not play.

"72-72. Tiger Woods misses the cut by one stroke," tweeted PGA Tour. "This is the ninth time he's missed the cut in a major as a pro."

Following the devastating loss, Woods told reporters he just "didn't play well, (it's) that simple."
