NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The Health Department has released its list of the most popular New York City baby names of 2018.

Emma was the top girl name in 2018, while Liam was the top boy name that year.

Approximately 779 Liams and 501 Emmas were born in 2018, the most recent year recorded by the Health Department. The 2019 names won’t be released until December 2020.
