NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two teens have been arrested and charged in relation to a brutal beating of a 79-year-old man in Queens.
Nyziere Lodge, 18, of Queens and an unidentified 15-year-old boy are facing charges for the Oct. 10 incident, according to police.
They allegedly followed the 79-year-old Joseph Bonaventure, on his way to the library, and assaulted him, on Linden Boulevard in Cambria Heights.
In surveillance video, the suspects can be seen pushing him to the ground and punching him over and over again.
Bonaventure suffered a broken femur and broken ribs and is still in the hospital.
The two suspects were charged with gang assault.
Lodge was additionally charged with disorderly conduct.
