NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for an Uber Eats delivery driver who they say attacked a worker at a Popeye's in Manhattan.
The attack was sparked by an argument between the 22-year-old worker and the suspect at a Popeye's on Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, police say.
The NYPD says the Uber deliveryman put the worker in a chokehold and then punched him in the side of the head.
The worker was not seriously injured in the attack, which happened on Dec. 29.
Police released video of the suspect on Sunday. They believe he's between 35 and 40 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
