Upper West Side 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint by 2 masked men: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An Upper West Side 7-Eleven store was robbed on Monday NYPD officials confirm.

Police at 11:28 a.m. received a call for a commercial robbery at a 7-Eleven store at the corner of 89th Street and Columbus Ave. 

Authorities said two men walked into the store and one suspect pulled a gun out, taking an unknown amount of money from the store.

The suspects fled northbound on Columbus toward 90th Street.

Police said one suspect was wearing a gray sweater and the second man wore a red hat. Both men wore masks, officials said.

An investigation remains ongoing.
