On August 10, at approximately 6 p.m., a 44-year-old man was in front of 3300 3rd Avenue after having arranged to meet with an unknown individual through the "Let It Go" app to sell a black and white Kenzo wallet, valued at $200.

The suspect arrived to the location in a white sedan, where he double-parked, and the victim approached the vehicle on the passenger side, police said.

Inside of the vehicle were two men, a driver, and a front-seat passenger, who grabbed the wallet and the victim's bag, which contained medicine and $50, according to officials.

The men then sped off with the victim's arm trapped inside of the vehicle.

The victim was dragged for several blocks as the passenger repeatedly punched the victim.

Police said the driver then displayed a black firearm and the victim dislodged from the vehicle, hitting the ground.

As a result, the victim sustained numerous non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The individuals are described as following:

Suspect 1: A male with a light complexion, approximately 20-25 years old, with black curly hair, wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans.

Suspect 2: A male with a light complexion, approximately 20-25 years old, with short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and green pants

The vehicle is described as a white 4-door sedan with unknown license plates.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
