OLYMPIA, WA (1010 WINS) -- Washington state is getting new booster seat laws.
That means some kids could be in middle school and still be required to ride in a car seat.
Children under 13 must sit in the back seat of the vehicle.
The law will go into effect on January 1, 2020.
