NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Another video of young men dumping water on NYPD officers emerged Wednesday afternoon.
In a video posted to the Twitter account @NYScanner, several men are seen tossing buckets of water on two individuals, who appear to be female NYPD officers. The date and location of the attack is unclear.
In reference to the new video, NYPD spokeswoman Sergeant Mary Frances O'Donnell said, "NYPD police officers courageously work to address crime and disorder while facing unknown circumstances each time they respond to a call. This type of behavior is reprehensible and will not be tolerated. This matter is under investigation."
The video surfaced the same day that the NYPD said three suspects were arrested on accusations of dumping water on police officers in two separate incidents that appeared on viral videos which surfaced Monday.
One suspect is accused of dumping water on officers in Brownsville and two suspects are accused of dumping buckets of water on police officers in Harlem.
NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan said in a tweet that a 28-year-old man, who he describes as a known gang member, was arrested for the Brooklyn incident.
NYPD chief Terence Monahan tweeted a stern warning to would-be perpetrators: "Actions like we’ve seen in videos recently will NEVER be tolerated in this city. YOU WILL BE ARRESTED."
