NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The International Space Station released a new video Saturday showing a bird's eye view of powerful Hurricane Dorian.
NASA said the video was shot at 11:28 a.m. Saturday over the Atlantic Ocean, where Dorian was churning towards the U.S. Southeast as a Category 4 storm.
The storm had winds of 150 miles per hour Saturday afternoon and could reach Category 5 status in the coming hours or days.
Dorian, which has been slowing moving over the Bahamas, is expected to turn north and spare Florida a direct hit, weather officials said. But the new path puts Georgia and the Carolinas at risk in addition to the Florida's northeastern coastline.
NASA released another video from the Space Station on Friday.
NASA said it will track Hurricane Dorian throughout the holiday weekend. The agency will provide status updates on the storm as it nears the U.S. coastline.
