NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – After last weekend’s grueling heat wave, this weekend is shaping up to be much more pleasant, AccuWeather says—but another round of hot, humid days are expected Sunday into early next week.
It was sunny and hot, but comfortable, Friday afternoon, with similar weather expected Saturday, according to AccuWeather. Friday's high is 86 in midtown.
It’s going to be hotter and more humid on Sunday, with a high of 89 degrees and RealFeels in the 90s by afternoon, AccuWeather says.
Monday and Tuesday will also be hot, sticky and humid, according to AccuWeather. The high Monday is 92 and the high Tuesday is 90, but RealFeel temperatures could approach 100.
But temperatures should go back down to the 80s by Wednesday, meaning the city will likely avoid another heat wave (technically three consecutive days of highs above 90).
