NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a woman was fatally struck by a truck in Brooklyn on Monday.
At approximately 11:00 a.m, police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Linden Boulevard in East New York.
Upon arrival, responding officers encountered a 40-year-old female with trauma to the body, officials said.
Police blocked all eastbound traffic on Linden Blvd.
An investigation is ongoing by the New York City Police Department's Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad.
