NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released new video Friday of a man they're searching for two weeks after a woman was dragged into bushes at a Manhattan park in broad daylight, choked unconscious and sexually assaulted.
The 28-year-old woman was walking near Edgecombe Avenue and West 165th Street in Highbridge Park in Washington Heights on the afternoon of June 4 when the man grabbed her from behind, police said.
The man dragged the woman into bushes and choked her unconscious before forcing her to perform a sex act on him, according to police, who said the man also stole the woman's jewelry.
The woman was taken to an area hospital and eventually released.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
