Woman rescued by good Samaritans after fainting onto subway tracks in Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) --  Good Samaritans rushed to help a woman who police say fell onto the subway tracks in Manhattan Tuesday morning.Just after 7 a.m., officials say the woman fainted and fell onto the tracks at the 59th Street station of the 4,5 trains.Officers and commuters were able to get her off of the track in order to be taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.Police say she was not struck by a train but service on the 4, 5 and 6 trains were affected for a short period of time, according to the MTA.
