NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Bronx’s own Fat Joe is making sure to “Get It Poppin’” at his favorite fast food restaurant all month long.
The rapper, described as a “long-time fan” of White Castle now has his very own month dedicated to him by the chain, known as “Joenuary.”
“White Castle was a big part of my childhood,” Fat Joe said. “I always enjoyed eating their Sliders with my friends and family, so it’s a full-circle moment to partner with them all these years later in an unprecedented way.”
For the occasion, Fat Joe, a Morrisania native, is helping promote the new “Spicy Joe Slider” burger and “Sloppy Fries.”
If that’s not enough, White Castle is going to be “joekes” (jokes) and joetry (poetry) on social media all month long featuring the Terror Squad artist.
Joe’s career has spanned multiple decades, scoring a top 40 hit with “All the Way Up” in 2016.
