NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — New York City’s iconic Four Seasons hotel is reportedly planning for a spring 2022 reopening.

Worker union reps told the New York Post that the luxury midtown hotel is gearing up to reopen this spring following renovations that ensued after a pandemic-induced closure in March 2020.
The report comes even as the hotel’s website states “substantial infrastructure and maintenance work” is expected to last “well into 2022.”
A major sticking point in the reopening of the five-star 57th Street hotel is an apparent financial dispute between the owner of the property Beanie Babies tycoon Ty Warner and the owner of the Four Seasons name, who manages the property, the Post reported.
Workers have already returned to the site to help clean up construction and move furniture, the Post reported.
The hotel did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
