NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for the suspect who shoved a woman down a Queens subway staircase earlier this month.
The attack took place inside the Jamaica-Van Wyck station in Kew Gardens at 4:50 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 14, police said.
A 31-year-old woman was inside the station when a man shoved her down a staircase, according to police.
The woman stumbled down the stairs and suffered pain to the right side of her body.
The suspect then followed the woman to the station's mezzanine before jumping the turnstile and fleeing into the system, cops said.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, yellow jacket and dark pants.
