JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — One person was killed and another person was injured in a Jersey City shooting Thursday afternoon, officials said.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, a 35-year-old man was shot and killed during the shooting that happened at about 4:15 p.m. at MLK Drive and Myrtle Avenue.
A second man was injured, suffering non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred just blocks away from where an attack at a Jersey City Jewish deli that killed a police detective and three people, occurred exactly one year ago.
