NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — One person was killed and five others injured when a vehicle collided with the back of a New Jersey Transit bus in Newark Tuesday morning, officials said.
The crash happened before 6 a.m. on Hawthorne Street near Clinton Place.
Authorities believe the person killed was inside the car. At least five others suffered minor injuries.
There were also people on board the bus at the time of the collision.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
