NEWARK (1010 WINS) -- Authorities announced Thursday that they're offering a reward of up to $5,000 in the murder of a man found in a Newark cemetery earlier this month.
The Essex County Sheriff's Office is offering the reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
The victim, 51-year-old Alexander Jones, of Newark, was found dead in Hebrew Cemetery on South 19th Street on Dec. 8.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office said an autopsy concluded that he died from "blunt and sharp force trauma."
