NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Gov. Phil Murphy's reelection campaign is "feeling the Bern."

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will join Murphy in a get-out-the-vote rally at Rutgers University Thursday evening in New Brunswick.
The former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate praised Murphy's achievements during his first term.
"Raising the minimum wage. Paid leave. Equal pay," Sanders tweeted. "This is the progress made under the leadership of @PhilMurphyNJ, and this Thursday, we'll rally to get out the vote at Rutgers University."
The New Jersey State Democratic Committee said Tuesday the event will be held outside from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Those who plan on attending will need to RSVP, provide event tickets and show proof of vaccination upon check-in.
Registering for the event will provide the event's location.
Murphy is facing a challenge from Republican Jack Ciattarelli, a former member of the New Jersey General Assembly, in next Tuesday's election.
