PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating after a body was found on a highway ramp Friday morning, authorities said.
According to officials, the body was found at about 5:35 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 80 leading into Paterson.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine if the victim was a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing.
