The swimmer was found around 11:05 a.m., a spokesmen for the U.S. Coast Guard and the State Park Police told NJ Advance. Her identity has not been announced at this time.

The woman was with her husband on the beach in the A22 area of the park when she entered the water and began to struggle just before 8:20 p.m., according to officials. She is believed to have been swept up in a rip current.

Coast Guard spokesman Steve Lehmann previously told the outlet that the search went "through the night." A State Park Police spokesman said the operation was called off at midnight and restarted at 8 a.m.

The woman was the second person to drown while swimming at the Jersey Shore on Monday. Her initial disappearance came hours after a man drowned in the ocean off Belmar on Monday afternoon.
