Responding officers evacuated the store as the NYPD’s Bomb Squad and Emergency Services Unit were called in to investigate further, police said.

ESU and the bomb squad deem the device a hoax by 10 a.m., and removed it from its location to be taken to a lab, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
