JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Jersey City officials are investigating the shooting death of a teenage boy late Monday night.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, 16-year-old Kaheem Taylor was found fatally shot just after 10:30 p.m. inside the vestibule of a building on Bergen Avenue, near Dwight Street, in West Bergen.
Taylor was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center after he suffered at least one gunshot wound to the upper body, officials said.
He was pronounced dead just after 11 p.m., authorities said.
As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been made and officials did not release any information about potentials suspects.
