LINDENWOOD, N.J. (1010 WINS) —An Uber Eats delivery driver in New Jersey called police after noticing a "strong smell" coming from the burrito they had just picked up, according to police, who said cannabis turned up inside the wrap.

"An Uber Eats driver picked up a 'burrito meal' in Lindenwold NJ but noticed a strong smell of marijuana 🍁 wafting from the bag while driving to Glassboro. 🤔 Concerned, they pulled over in Washington Township and called us to check it out. 👮‍♂️," Washington Township police wrote on Instagram.

According to officials, a police officer unwrapped the foil and instead of rice and beans found over an ounce of "raw marijuana", a bottle of water and a box of soup.

"This wasn’t the kind of wrap anyone ordered," police added.

Investigators are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to call their Detective Bureau at 856-589-0330.
