ELIZABETH, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Three people, including a young child, were struck in a fatal drive-by shooting Monday night in Elizabeth, police said.
A 28-year-old man, a woman in her 20s and a baby girl were sitting in the same car at about 8:30 p.m. when the gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Salem Avenue, officials said.
The man died from his injuries, police said, while the woman and child sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The relationship between the three of them wasn't immediately known, but they are not residents of Elizabeth, according to police.
Witnesses described seeing a black sedan fleeing the scene.
No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
