      Glenn Schuck

Glenn Schuck began his radio career in 1981 at Seton Hall University. Glenn was News Director and then Station Manager for WSOU, one of America’s oldest and best known college radio stations. The native of Saddle River, New Jersey began his professional radio career as a DJ for such stations as WJRZ/Jersey Shore, PST/Trenton, legend rocker WAAF /Boston and as morning host at KROCK in California.

In 1995 Glenn went back into news, anchoring business reports for CNBC based in New Jersey. His reports were heard locally on 1010WINS. In 1997, Glenn left CNBC for Metro Networks new radio news wire service. In

2000, Glenn joined 1010 WINS as a reporter, and the same month was named News Director for Metro. Glenn left his role at the Metro News wire in 2013 and added anchor duties to his reporting at 1010 WINS.

Glenn was the first radio reporter to inspect Ground Zero with Mayor Giuliani the morning of September 12, 2001. Glenn reported the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks for months after the tragedy and contributed to both an HBO documentary and two books on the terror attacks. While continuing to cover the events out of Mayor Bloomberg’s administration, Glenn’s work has also included dozens of baseball playoff games, Super Bowls, the Transit strike, the City Hall shooting, blackout of 2003 and dozens of major breaking news events. Schuck has won many awards for his work from the New York Press Club, AP and NY AIR Awards.

Glenn has been a long standing member of the Inner Circle, a group of City Hall reporters who roast the Mayor each year for charity at a show in late winter. He has appeared on CNN, NY1 News, MSNBC and other tv programs

on NYC events. Glenn also served as President of the New York Press Club from 2009-2012. He and his wife Jennifer and daughter Eva reside in Bergen County, New Jersey. He is on the board of directors of WSOU at Seton Hall and was inducted into the station’s Hall of Fame in 2013.
