OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — The stabbing deaths of a former New Jersey couple is being investigated as an alleged murder-suicide, officials said Thursday.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Act Old Bridge Police Chief Joseph Mandola said authorities responded to a home Tuesday night at around 11:17 p.m. and found Yajaira Moreno, 33, dead from multiple stab wounds.
The body of Juan Alvarado, 39, of Elizabeth was located near the home, with what appeared to be multiple self-inflicted stab wounds, authorities said.
Officials said Alvarado and Mandola were in a previous relationship.
