VIDEO: Girl, 16, beaten, robbed in Queens home; group sought by police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a group wanted in connection to a violent robbery of a teen girl in Queens that occurred last month, officials said.

It was reported to police that on March 27, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a 16-year-old girl was visited by a male acquaintance at her residence inside of the Queensbridge Houses located on 10th Street.


Shortly after his arrival, three unknown females entered the apartment and started punching and kicking the teen girl, police said.

The attackers took the victim's Apple iPhone XR and then fled the location along with the male acquaintance, heading toward the 21 Street and 41 Avenue train station, according to the NYPD.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her head and was treated and released from Mount Sinai Hospital - Queens.

Surveillance video depicting the three females and the male person of interest, obtained from the incident location, is attached and available at DCPI.
