MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police launched an investigation after a hunter at a New Jersey forest discovered a human skull last week, authorities said.
According to officials, the skull was found at the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest in Manchester Township shortly before 7 p.m. on Feb. 23.
New Jersey State Troopers brought cadaver dogs to the area off Route 70 on Monday in an attempt to search for other human remains.
No other information was available.
An investigation is ongoing.
