HACKENSACK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police have identified a married couple found dead from a murder-suicide at a North Jersey nursing home on Saturday, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Just before 9 a.m., police responded to a 911 call at CareOne at Wellington in Hackensack.
Upon arrival, officials located Patricia Zaccario, 72, and Michael Zaccario, 75, both of Wood-Ridge with apparent gunshot wounds.
Both were pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said.
An investigation later determined that Michael Zaccario fatally shot his wife before succumbing to his injuries from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, prosecutors said.
